Are you having the feeling that Parish Fashion Week lasted more like a month rather than a week?! Well, you’re not the only one! Initially, I thought I mixed up the dates or something. Later, I realized that PFS SS20 was indeed that long. Of course, that’s not a bad thing since it’s my favourite week out of the four!
There were so many gorgeous designer pieces! Sadly, I had to choose just my personal favourites, otherwise, I would have to upload 100 images!
Before those though, here are some Paris Fashion Week SS20 highlights that I know you’ll enjoy!
Paris Fashion Week SS20 Highlights
Alessandra Rich designers are usually extremely gorgeous but the black see-through lace dress is on another level! Although I’ll probably never be able to wear something like this, it is an incredibly stunning dress for a special evening in Spring/Summer 2020!
The lace details were also present at Alexander McQueen SS20 show! The gorgeous model was flaunting a black leather dress with white lace details. Moreover, the wide leather belt matched perfectly the whole look.
Polka dots with gold over-the-knee boots?! Why not! At Paris Fashion Week SS20 Altuzarra showcased a long-sleeve shirt dress in polka dots with the mentioned gold leather boots. Also, the boots were perfectly matched by a waist belt with gold chain details.
Another dress made the Paris Fashion Week SS20 highlights! This time from Andrew Gn who presented a stunning long floral dress with the beaded details.
Balmain, on the other hand, presented a quite different collection to his usual gems, studs and sparkles’ pieces. My favourite design is in a black and white stripes print. Pants and crop top which also features ‘spread’ sleeves?
During Paris Fashion Week SS20, Celine showcased some amazing designs. One of the highlights is a long denim skirt with a sleeveless beaded vest over a yellow shirt!
Another see-through dress caught my eye at PFW. Dior designed a beautiful black dress with flower details and a black mesh top design.
White sporty jumpsuit from Christian Wijnants at SS20 which will be perfect for Spring/Summer 2020 for late-night walks and dates.
A highlight from Dundas’ SS20 collection is a two-piece suit with a black and gold snake print. Beautiful suit for a cocktail evening in Spring!
Elie Saab also designed a stunningly elegant two-piece black suit. Moreover, a black leather belt with a gold buckle is a beautiful touch up to the whole look.
At Paris Fashion Week SS20 Givenchy had a very striking green leather two-piece look. A leather crop top with a matching skirt over contrasting beige leather boots.
White elegant shirt dress from Guy Laroche with a selection of brown accessories for contrast. The leather boots and bag have geometric patterns in white to match the colour of the dress.
Another highlight from Paris Fashion Week SS20 is Isabel Marant’s light beige jumpsuit, flaunted by Gigi Hadid.
Speaking of jumpsuits, Leonard Paris presented his version of a jumper for SS20. A more elegant version for sure! The pink, blue and purple metallic colours are something that you’ll definitely want to wear next year.
Snake print boots and oversized coats at Maison Margiela’s PFW. Moreover, when I say oversized coats I really do mean it! You can’t see the models’ hands because of the long sleeves!
Marchesa Notte definitely knows how to design a floral dress, destined for a glamorous event in a castle in South of France!
In contrast to Marchesa’s beautifully elegant dress, Mugler went in the opposite direction with his sexy cut-out black dress for his SS20 show!
A highlight from Redemption’s show during PFW is also a dress in a dusty see-through pink material with a high side split to show of those legs.
Another dress with side splits, this time from Rokh. Moreover, the dress is in leather material with contrasting blue, beige and white colours.
Saint Laurent had yet another mind-blowing show in front of the Eiffel tower. A sparkling short jumpsuit in black caught my eye, even though I definitely don’t have the legs to pull it off!
Leather skirt and jumper looks are definitely something that I enjoy to wear during early Spring. For SS20 Unravel designed an outfit that is my cup of tea.
This concludes the fashion month and I hope you’ve enjoyed the highlights!
