Milan Fashion Week is definitely one of my favourites out of the four. I can’t help but think of Versace, Blumarine, Fendi, Max Mara and many more. Once again Milan Fashion Week didn’t disappointment and next year’s Spring/Summer fashion is also looking breezy, flowery and more feminine than ever!
Oh, speaking of Versace, I doubt that you somehow missed Jennifer Lopez’s green dress comeback!
I’ll try to make this post short and sweet, so here are Milan Fashion Week SS20 highlights! Moreover, make sure to check out my favourite looks from the shows in the end!
Milan Fashion Week SS20 Highlights
One of the highlights at Milan Fashion Week SS20 was a beige layered look from Agnona that I also definitely need for Spring! The dark beige suit was styled with a checked shirt and a coat in a similar print.
Alberta Ferretti designs for SS20 include whip-stitched suede jacket, pleated chinos and black-and-white animal print pieces. The highlight of the show is an orange suede jacket with striped trousers!
I’m usually used to fall in love with Blumarine’s dresses, yet, a very unusual outfit caught my attention. Well, unusual from Blumarine! Light blue jeans paired with a light beige shirt with embroidered flowers made me dream about Spring 2020!
Brunello Cucinelli’s wide trousers are on another level! The light trousers are also styled with a beautiful silk shirt.
At Milan Fashion Week SS20 Etro showcased ruffly, floaty dresses in mini and maxi lengths. Moreover, there we boleros, velvet jackets, pirate boots and gladiator sandals with metal butterflies.
I wondered if Fendi will manage to design something even slightly genius after Karl Lagerfeld but they did! An absolutely stunning checked shirt dress in honey colour was matched by a dark brown fur coat.
A beautiful silk top with matching ruffled-hem skirt is personal favourite look from Galvin’s MFW SS20! Furthermore, the collection featured metallic sequins and slip dresses.
The metallic oversized suit from Genny is an absolute dream for an evening cocktail party in SS20! What do you think?
Is this the sports suit of my dreams, Giorgio Armani?! Yes, I think it is! I’ve never imagined that a blue suit can look both sporty and classy. It also gives me Matrix vibes but I’ll leave it to you to decide.
At Milan Fashion Week SS20 Beccaria featured short scalloped dresses, prim pleated and ruffled skirts. Also, the highlight for me is a white slightly see-through white dress.
Speaking of dresses, Marchesa definitely knows how to design them! Furthermore, for SS20 there is a stunning pink creation with feather motifs. A dress made for a red carpet event!
From prints and patterns to waffled and pleated fabrics at De Vincenzo show. A metallic pleated dress was the star of the SS20 collection!
Another beige look that I fell in love with at MFW SS20 was at Max Mara’s show. Sporty shirt, skirt and jacket were styles with dark brown long socks and matching pumps with white details for contrast!
Tailored jackets, pencil or pleated skirts, wool trousers and summer knits in stripes at Prada’s SS20 collection. My favourite look featured an orange coat with turquoise leaves!
At Milan Fashion Week, there were also some mesmerizing leather designs! Simonetta Ravizza has such a design and it features a red leather skirt with a matching jacket.
Sportmax’s showcased various wrapped, asymmetrical, and breezy summer dresses. Moreover, a blue oversized shirt dress with a leather overcoat is just what you need for SS20!
A cowboy vibe from Tod’s SS20 collection. Moreover, a personal highlight are the cow-printed leather pants with a simple white shirt!
Last but not least is Versace! Although I probably had to finish with Jennifer Lopez’s green dress, there was a black outfit that stole my heart. A black short dress with Versace’s signature gold buttons is also definitely something I would love to wear next year!
